Ok. So, lately I have been getting yelled at for not personally telling everyone what's been happening in my life. I thought I would remind the people I care about what a blog is for.
My blog, anyway.
I only blog here when there is something important I want you to read. (Have you noticed?) I blog here so that I *don't* have to call each and every person I care about and tell them the same story over and over again. I also blog so I don't have tp rehash these stories and get emotional. If you are late in reading my blogs, it is your fault for not paying closer attention, not mine. I post almost immediately after the fact, or as soon after the fact as I can. It is possible, if you don't check myspace/livjournal daily, to receive an email saying such-and-such posted a new blog. Learn it. Stop bitching at me. And all of you have my phone number too, if you don't, ask for it. Please stop expecting me to be more than me. You all claim to love me for who I am, please start accepting me for that same person.

In other news, I *have* been trying to get my act together, in other ways. Not changing who I am, but becoming more responsible. I have a job, even if I only started it a yesterday, and I have been temping for a week and a half now. I started working as soon as possible, when I got here to Cali. I get up, every Mon-Fri, early in the morning, which is *completely* out of whack for me, to go to work and stay there all day. *PLEASE* lay off. I *will* get this straight as soon as I am able. I *did* just start walking a couple months ago (as you may have noticed from my blog, with good reason) and still have a great deal of pain that I get through day to day. Things are looking positive, but if I get hounded too much, I will hide in my shell and might not make it out of it to keep this up.

Thanks and have a great day.

Love, Me

A lot of people are going through rebuilding trust in certain areas of their lives. It may not be with a romantic partner, or it is but not a husband/wife...or is. This is an article I found very helpful, in all aspects of rebuilding trust between people. Thought I would share it...It has about 8 pages :D

So, I was in a horrible car accident on Saturday. I rolled my car 3 times on the freeway trying to avoid another car, who was driving very poorly. It's very frightening to be in a rolling car. I sprained my left shoulder and my whole body hurts, but that and a few scrapes and bruises is all that's wrong with me. My car is TOTALLED. No insurance, couldn't afford it :(

My seat belt saved my life.

I'm done with this almost dying thing, it was old in August, it's even older now. Done yet please?

I can only think of one other person who could possibly understand this, but I am soooo tired of living only through medication. I hate that if I miss a pill one day I feel miserable a few hours later...and for another day until the meds re-enter my system. It's incredibly frustrating and kind of depressing.

Hmph.

I hope everyone is doing well...and in case I forget, Happy Birthday to Curuad, Melindrha, and TallPaleAndMoody...on the first... :D

First let me say that I’m a huge fan of yours. As my friend, you always seem to be there when needed. The perfect post-work cocktail, a beer at the game, and you’re even around at the holidays (hidden inside chocolates as you warm us when we’re stuck in the midst of endless family gatherings).

However, lately I’ve been wondering about your intentions. While I want to believe that you have my best interests at heart, I feel that your influence has led to some unwise consequences:

Phone calls and text messages: While I agree with you that communication is important, I question the suggestion that any conversation after 2 a.m. can have much substance or necessity. Why would you make me call my ex’s? Especially when I know, for a fact, they DO NOT want to hear from me during the day, let alone all hours of the night.
Eating: Now, you know I love a good meal. But, why do you suggest that I eat a taco with chili sauce along with a big Italian meatball and some stale chips (washed down with wine & topped off with a Kit Kat AFTER a few cheese curls & chili cheese fries)? I’m an eclectic eater, but I think you went too far this time.
Clumsiness: Unless you’re subtly trying to tell me that I need to do more yoga to improve my balance, I see NO need to hammer this issue home by causing me to fall down. It’s completely unnecessary, and the black & blue marks that appear on my body mysteriously the next day are beyond me. Similarly, it should never take me more than 45 seconds to get the front door key into the lock.
Furthermore: The hangovers have GOT to stop! This is getting ridiculous. I know a little penance for our previous evening’s debauchery may be in order. But, the 3 p.m. hangover immobility is completely unacceptable. My entire day is shot. I ask that if the proper precautions are taken (water, vitamin B, bread products, aspirin) prior to going to sleep/passing out (face down on the kitchen floor with a bag of popcorn or wherever), the hangover should be minimal and in no way interfere with my daily activities.
Alcohol, I have enjoyed our friendship for some years now and would like to ensure that we remain on good terms. You’ve been the invoker of great stories, the provocation for much laughter and the needed companion when I just don’t know what to do with the extra money in my pockets.

In order to continue this friendship, I ask that you carefully review my grievances above and address them immediately. I will look for an answer no later than Friday 3 p.m. (pre happy hour) on your possible solutions. And hopefully we can continue this fruitful partnership.

Thank you,

Your Biggest Fan

On the first day, God created the dog and said:

'Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks
past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.'

The dog said: 'That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and
I'll give you back the other ten?'

So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the monkey and said:

'Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a
twenty-year life span.'

The monkey said: 'Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to
perform. How about I give you back ten like the Dog did?'

And God agreed.

On the third day, God created the cow and said:

'You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the
sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will
give you a life span of sixty years.'

The cow said: 'That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years.
How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?'

And God agreed again.

On the fourth day, God created man and said:

'Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty
years.'

But man said: 'Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the
forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten
the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?'

'Okay,' said God, 'You asked for it.'

So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy
ourselves. For the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family.
For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the
grandchildren. And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at
everyone.

Life has now been explained to you.
